Calendar & contacts

fjell.email includes a calendar and contacts that sync alongside your mail. You can also subscribe to external calendars, and connect other apps over the open CalDAV/CardDAV standards.

  1. Subscribe to a calendar in the app

    In Calendar, add a subscription by pasting the calendar's .ics URL (for example a shared team or holidays calendar). It's added as a read-only feed that refreshes automatically — handy for keeping an eye on schedules you don't own.

  2. Sync calendar to another app (CalDAV)

    To see your fjell.email calendar in Apple Calendar, Thunderbird, or another client, add a CalDAV account with:

    • Server: https://mx1.fjell.email/dav/cal
    • Username: your full @fjell.email address
    • Password: an app password (not your normal login)

  3. Sync contacts to another app (CardDAV)

    Contacts work the same way over CardDAV:

    • Server: https://mx1.fjell.email/dav/card
    • Username: your full @fjell.email address
    • Password: an app password

Tip: CalDAV/CardDAV use the same app-password mechanism as mail, so you can create one “iPhone” app password and use it for mail, calendar, and contacts together — then revoke it once to disconnect that device from everything.
